Overview
Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
How to build student transitions to alumni roles in the university ecosystem
The BIP “How to build student transitions to alumni roles in the university ecosystem” programm is a strategic approach designed to support students continued transition from academia to graduate roles, providing a sustainable link between the university and its community. The program promotes collaboration between students and alumni by building an integrated university ecosystem in which the two groups actively participate and interact with each other. It stresses the opportunities for lifelong learning and professional development, ensuring that the university becomes a resource not only during, but also after, studies.
The BIP is organized in collaboration with partners:
Kaunas University of Technology (KU)
Czech Technical University in Prague
Programm Description:
• Objectives: To build support mechanisms for student and graduate roles, create a platform that educates students and alumni about potential post-graduation roles and reinforce students confidence in contributing to the graduate community. Motivate graduates to engage as contributors, mentors, lecturers, and employers while providing tools and resources to help them thrive in these roles.
• Content: Practical group sessions focusing on specific issues related to graduate engagement (e.g., attracting graduates as mentors or donors), discussions analyzing real examples from participants experiences to identify challenges and solutions, role-playing simulations where participants act as Alumni Coordinators to develop strategies for graduate involvement, group presentations and discussions to refine ideas and explore their practical applications.
